lol at you doward...
that is all :)
btw, only a few engines here in domestic passenger cars rotate CCW... namely hondas. the only hondas that rotate CW are the H and F series, iirc. possibly the new R and K series too.
i know some people are either using MKIV TT or Landcruiser throtte cables. its what is used for a 1jz/2jz swap into the MK3.
however, i also know a few people using a Lokar throttle cable on a Q45 TB setup.
on mine, im using the stock cable and the stock linkage rod since im using a...
so i want to make one.
you know how the pre89 cars have the shock absorber mounted between the driver side engine mount and the subframe?
well i kind of decided (after having chronic starting issues w/ my car) that these liquid mounts need extra stabilization. they are just FAR too...
you sure? thats supposed to be a Turbo-R lip... ive never seen a GA70 or even a LImited jza70 with that lip.
aside from that, it appears to be a hardtop from the low resolution pictures that guy sent you... if it IS, you ought to buy the car. itd be the rarest of the rare, short of the gay...
i like the sides, ALOT. the only thing i have to complain about the sides are the raised ridges at the Top... they would do better to have only the ridge at the bottom. i Love how the sides follow the contouring of the fender flares and recessed portions of the center of the body.
the front...
ok, so all that said; anyone running MKIV tt's on the Front?
i just bolted on a set of rears that came off my friends car. they have 315's on them. Drag radials on the front feel kinda weird. also, the steering takes more effort than it did w/ 245's and 255's. the weird thing is, with my idle...
im less than hopefull, but: will these instructions apply to wide band sensors too? or are the variances too far different?
From JJ: No, sorry. A WB is a different animal and can only be checked in it's entirety by using calibration gas with varying concentrations of O2.
just wondering if anyone knows if there is a process/method for testing the bosch sensors for inaccuracy after running leaded fuels. i know that the bosch WILL fail after a few months of being used with race fuels. my friend is running a PLX m300 and using the bosch. he says that his afr's are...
when i get un-broke... however, i dont think i can get a stock baseline. my car is nearly impossible to put to stock.
id have to find someone in the area with a 100% stock mk3... hit the dyno and then put my DP on it.
damn... im really curious to konw how much, or if any, material had to be removed for the rear of the cluster or from the bottom of the cluster. also, how much room there is between the boost guage area and the top of the ac vent.
you used the whole guages or did you end up modifying the...
im sure its not. japanese auto mfr's started using water-based paint back then... the domestics didnt start experimenting with such "new age" technology till the 90's. i would expect lead-based paint to have been phased out some time Before the 80's.
if its the original midnight blue, its a SEXY color.
ive never seen the color in its original glory untill i repainted one of my old 87's in the factory shade. it has so much metal in it, some purple and what not. it looks GREAT in the sunlight.
either an SP61GT or SP63. a 61 could hit it on race gas and 25ish psi with a 0.68 hot side. a 63mm is alot more likely and a 67 can do it for sure with just a pump-race mix and 23-24psi.
its definilty 10's too. my friend is running an SP67 on his car. he runs 10.50's at 128 in his MKIV, BL...
id say thats a $7000-$8000 car. the only downside i can see is that its Auto... but thats not necessarily a bad thing. it means the cars NEVER been beaten down on and almost guaranteed to have a babied life for what few miles it HAS been on the road. you can get GOOOOOOD money for that car. all...
what i want to know is why cant anyone make a side skirt that is JUST as low as the front lip and rears yet DOESNT Look like a goddamn shelf.
even if its a skirt that simply follows the concavity of the stock rocker panel and mudflaps but is suits the lip and rear height, id buy the hell out...
i wonder if the mkiv tranny and lexus trannies have the same setup. i hear the 2jzge auto trannies have front pumps that move a greater volume or more line pressure, idk. my friend bought a triple disc and it stalled at like 5000rpm. they said they sent him one for a lexus by mistake... you know...
haha... that dyno sheet probably got lost in the shop a Week after the fact!! that place was my second living room... complete w/ PS2 on the big screen and GT4 on at all times.
