What throttle cable is everybody using with their FFIM setups?

Particularly the short runner style manifolds like Ron R's.

I heard about a Celica cable but I don't know what year it was from. Does anybody have an approximate length for how long their cable is? Summit has a bunch of universal cables 24", 36", 48" +

I need a cable for a short runner manifold with a Q45 throttle body.

i know some people are either using MKIV TT or Landcruiser throtte cables. its what is used for a 1jz/2jz swap into the MK3.

however, i also know a few people using a Lokar throttle cable on a Q45 TB setup.

on mine, im using the stock cable and the stock linkage rod since im using a modified stock TB and "quadrant". right now, the end of the stock cable presses firmly into the socketed end of the stock linkage rod. to prevent the cable from popping out of the rod, i used a small hose clamp to keep it together. ive had no problems whatsoever with this adaptation but i do wish to clean it up and improve the cable-to-rod joint as well as make a permanent throttle cable bracket on my manifold...

ive just had zero issues running like this all last year that ive put that task on the back burner...

How do you trim the cables and still retain the fittings on either side to attach to the pedal and the TB linkage?

I have seen some "clamps" that you use to join two pieces of air craft cable but I tried one out and it doesn't hold. I can seperate the cables by pulling on them with the clamps as tight as can be. Not something I am trusting on my accelerator.

Is there special crimps to re-attach the ball fitting that inserts into the throttle body linkage?

Where can I buy this Stopper?

Edit: I see that it comes with most Lokar cables.

I understand how it works now after seeing a picture.
I will buy the 36" and cut to size and re-attach the end.
Thanks!
