how to test solenoids in the transmission?

Dunno it's a PWM so I'm guessing whatever it controls is variable and not just an on/off thing.

i wonder if the mkiv tranny and lexus trannies have the same setup. i hear the 2jzge auto trannies have front pumps that move a greater volume or more line pressure, idk. my friend bought a triple disc and it stalled at like 5000rpm. they said they sent him one for a lexus by mistake... you know anything about that?

Nope haven't heard that, my valve body is out of a 2J Aristo but the rest of the trans is a340e.
