Blitz and RSR have the reputation of being the loudest... i like the look of the blitz a lot better.
or just get a custom one with one muffler in the rear and you'll have a plenty loud exhaust.
whats wrong with the AEM? my one friend kept telling me there were total shit, and he sold it to his friend, but now we have been using it on a boosted RSX, and the STOCK wideband sensor (yes its a true wideband) reads damn near the same. theres a .2 different in the readings... at an idle the...
to get to 400whp on a ct-26 it needs to be a 57trim... and it would just produce more power all through the RPM band because it would be pushing more air the entire time.
you could get the adapter kit, run that turbo, and then if you want some more power, then get it upgraded later on. and...
i've thought about getting a DDP, and then running a seperate tube all the way back and merge it into the exhaust by the diff or the area after the cat... should still see all the gains of a vented pipe, but the quietness of a recirculated. and i'll still pass smog no problem cause it wont be...
send it off to driftmotion to get rebuild as a 57trim and THEN slap it onto the 1jz...
and when you get the turbo back from driftmotion, order there adapter thing to use on the stock manifolds. that way you can save in shipping!
in all honesty i would call up aaron and see what he says...
I just have issues with his prices... but i understand hes making money because its a business....
i just dont see him doing any specials, or group buys... i think that would defintaley help his sells out as most think his prices are on the high side.
if your comfortable with the price. if you want one that will work 99% the same, get one from 935, that way if there is a problem, he'll handle it like the business man he is.
Personally, i plan to get one from a site i found and they have them for $200shipped... i even emailed to be sure it...
the only real problem i've noticed with ebay exhaust on turbo cars, is that they get really raspy after just a few hundred miles... and then you have this really ugly sounding exhaust.
just a fair warning about ebay exhaust... worst case you weld on a higher quality one for $50.
if your having trouble, you could install one of those flush kits in the hose that goes from the back of the head to the heater valve. thats what i did and i can bleed the system super fast now!
jscspeed.com has it for 1637... so thats a nice cut from the price.
im suprised its so much through rich... he normally has the best prices on everything.
if your going to shoot for such high numbers why not just get a multi plate disc? that way you dont ever have to worry about it again, or whether or not your making too much power on a certain setup.
the cost into that much over a aftermarket setup, and it will surely hold the power and not...
