Yeah i just peeped out driftmotion and seen the adapter manifold but is it really worth the swap between turbos????

Does the CT26 need to be 57 trimmed???

to get to 400whp on a ct-26 it needs to be a 57trim... and it would just produce more power all through the RPM band because it would be pushing more air the entire time.

you could get the adapter kit, run that turbo, and then if you want some more power, then get it upgraded later on. and im just not a fan of twin turbos anymore. they sound cool... but you can get a properly sized turbo for the engine and have it be just as fun.

if your good with a welder and have access to some metal you could fab up your own kit... but the DM kit also has oil lines custom made... which is a HUGE bonus.

Not to mention it locates the CT26 where a stock 7M downpipe will work (or any of the aftermarket ones).

It looks pretty clean for a used turbo, check shaft play and if it's fine, run it...

Personally, I would not use a ct-26. I would go with a different turbo that will be reliable. If you want a Ct-26 to be as nice as others a thicker shaft has to be used. Most people that ( rebuild them to 57, 60, 62 ) never upgrade the shaft, and what happens is fatigue from that and snaps.

I would just get something different.

That's wrong.

CT26's shaft is actually larger than the normal garrett shaft (this is why the garrett wheels need to be bored out to fit on the CT's shaft), it's the larger wheel in the small compressor housing that causes surge and destroys the turbo.

57 trim is reliable, especially for it's price...
