Update: IT LIVES! Wooo! Got the upgrades installed, it started up, died, re-started, idled like crap, but actually held an idle. (It didn't before). I unplugged the ISC, and bam, rock solid idle at 500rpm. (a tiny bit low, but it's perfectly smooth!) New ISC on order. LOL. Damn car is killing...

That sucks, man. :( Next time you might want to try some Marine Grease. It repels water much better, and really sticks in place (as it's meant for water-soaked applications). Myself and my friend like to call it Seldom-Seize, and that's for good reason. ;)

Don't ground them out. Rewire them properly. Use this method, but ground ONLY the ECU side: http://www.supras.com/06/techcenter/display.php?QID=69 It would be stupid to run without knock sensors. And I'm not entirely sure that grounding them out would even work as Nash says it does. That seems...

75psi seems a bit much, especially at idle. What weight oil are you running, and what's done to the system aside from a filter relocation?

Well, from the sounds of it, you put the '88 motor in the '90 chassis, and tried using the engine wiring harness from the '88. You'd have been much better off using an 89.5+ 7MGE automatic harness with it, so it'd be plug 'n play. ;)

Yep, it was running very rich at first. I'm very, very far past that point now. I ran around on that setup, and later I wired in a MaftPro and did a bit of street tuning before I decided to pull the car off the road for a full restoration. Since then, my direction has changed drastically...
