Finally after so long, shes alive!

I have been working on this motor for 2 years now and last night was the day this baby woke up. as soon as it started i had chills up and down my spine cuz i was so excited.

at idle (1200 rpm) i was getting 75PSI in oil !!!!!!!!!!! Thats my moidifed oil system

anyways heres a short video of it starting, ofcourse i still have to button things up, this was just a test . enjoy!

i had the coil plug plugged into the harness and from the harness to the igniter,,, i had the reversed!! it confused me because they are both the same shape clip and same color!

a stupid fix i know lol

75psi seems a bit much, especially at idle. What weight oil are you running, and what's done to the system aside from a filter relocation?

It’s straight 30 weight oil. I have a shimmed new factory pump, filter relocation, I replaced the factory steel line with AN fittings and steel breaded line, I extended the pickup tube on the oil pump 3/4 inches and crank scrappers on both sides of the oil pan rail…

yes thats the PSI cold, im sure once it warms up it will drop to 40 psi. thats how my brothers 434 CI sbc runs and all the motors him and his friends build.
