Why not use a silicone reducer, then just use a small piece of metal or plastic piping to mate the silicone reducer to your filter. ;)

Both my cars were originally N/A's, so I just kept the voltmeters in them. :) But the swap is pretty straight forward. Just grab one from an N/A car from your year span. (gauges changed styles;))
