That would be easy to make. Any decent piece of steel stock for the 4-bolt flange, cut a circular hole in it, weld on the appropriate pipe and v-band and you're done. Any fabricator could make you one easily.
And to answer your questions, I haven't seen any, but I also never looked.
My bud is a mechanic, and he finds stuff like this often- but many times it's pure negligence and stupidity. For example: Some kid brought in his Civic for a basic tune up, and said that the car wasn't running properly. He had just bought it, and genuinely wanted to get it running well for a...
Can't say for those power levels, but I was pushing round-about 300rwhp/300rwtq on a Clutchmasters Stage 3 w/ Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel for quite a while. (this was a few years back) I later installed a wicked custom ball bearing CT26 that hauled like a goddamn freight train, much faster than...
LOL, I made 289rwhp, 295rwtq on a Mustang dyno with a dying CT26 @ 15psi with nothing more than a BIC DDP, Fidanza LWFW, generic cone intake, AFPR, and Clutchmasters stage 3. Something's seriously wrong, dude.
(wow, that was 6 yrs ago. :()
Looks like a photoshop to me. The hood and fascia are a different white, and it's pretty much the same pic as this, just a bit different. This pic is the first thing I thought of when I saw it:
Also, yesterday while it was 93*F here, and quite humid, I welded in my Bimmerworld rear trailing arm pocket reinforcements. I didn't take a single picture of the process. That job sucks! I'm a n00b welder, and welding upside down SUCKS. Ugh. Not to mention I was in pants, shortsleeves, and a...
Keep in mind that if you do the cam swap, you'll be choking the motor off at upper RPM when making any decent amount of power. For a bone stock car that'll stay stock forever, I still wouldn't do it. (Don't you think the engineers at Toyota would have put the N/A cam in the GTE if it was...
Meh. There are much better ones around. Some with s50 turbos under the hood. (The s50 is the 3.0L from the '95 M3's. Great flowing heads, and take turbos very well)
Popped the flange out + got the race off. Air chisel FTW!
Pressed out the old bearing:
New one in, no pic of the flange pressed in, as I was short on time:
Used a Mac balljoint press to press in some new ball joints. The '95's have a bushing in the lower...
LOL, I finished up all the subframe welding today. I plated two more spots which I'll post pics of later on. The welds definitely penetrated, that's for damn sure, I think they'll hold just fine!
As for the Supra- I think I'm going to find some spare interior parts to slap in it so I can...
Dealer has it as well. It's inexpensive. If you pull the cover off the CPS and note the position of the rotor inside so you can pop it back in the same way (helical cut gear means the rotor will spin as you remove/install the CPS), it's very easy. One bolt (12mm IIRC) and it pops right out. Pull...
A little progress today. Got the tacked front subframe mount reinforcement welded up today, ground down the other plate that I'd cut out w/ the torch the other day. Cleaned the subframe up for welding of the other front plate, and got it tacked in. I'll weld it up this weekend. On to the pics...
