    Hellaflush 5

While the hellaflush cars look pretty, I'm 100% function>form, so I could never do that to any of my cars. If they were show cars, sure, but it's totally impractical, and I'll take handling any day over looks. This craze has caught on like the plague on bimmerforums.com, which lead to another...

    Just driving to get groceries...

This: Bone stock, depending on gear ratio, a MKIII will top out at around 143, give or take. Unless you've raised your redline or have taller gears out back, 14x is going to be around your top speed at redline in fifth gear.

What are the consequences of the 7mgte's ECU not having a speed signal?

There is no speed cut on the 7M... redline limited. ;) Other than that, I am unsure. Perhaps a more TCCS savvy person will chime in to answer that for you.

    NA-T Build Head Gasket Options

He's not having the block machined, which is why I suggested staying with the composite. If he were pulling the motor and rebuilding, I'd recommend a Cometic. For what it's worth, make the decision when you pull the head. My block was very, very smooth and true, so I opted to try a Cometic...

    Roadrage much? What a tool!

I can't believe some people. LOL. That BMW driver was a serious douche. Narrow back road, stops in the middle of the lane, no place to pass. Ugh. :nono:

    NA-T Build Head Gasket Options

Absolutely. Headgasket failure that's NOT due to the crap stock torque specs can usually be attributed to user error. Overheating will kill it, (even a MHG) and a bad tune will kill it quickly. If you tune the car properly, a stock headgasket will be perfectly fine for the 300rwhp range. With...

Need to retorque the head with used ARP's?

I would retorque. It takes less than a half hour with a stock manifold. Even less if you have a FFIM.

Ok so I'm a moron, I could really use some help though. (see pics)

I'm with IJ 100% on this. If you're doing this kind of work, chances are you'll do it again. Just buy good tools the first time. Buying/using/returning is a complete load of crap.

    Lean Idle After Pulling Efi

Unmetered air can cause a lean condition. Check out www.siliconeintakes.com for couplers. Great people to deal with, high quality products, fantastic communication, and quick shipping. I get all my silicone stuff through them. (and t-bolt clamps, v-bands, etc...) Not at all. You won't...

Gas light on, and cant get the gas door open. Scheisse!

If you don't want to rip up the interior right now, you can always put a spacer on the gas tank end to take up the extra slack. That works too. ;)
