one other thing. i just remembered about this. when started from cold it is extremely slugish. a lot more so than when its warmed up. i guess this could possibly be the csi staying on too long? am i right in thinking its suposed to stay on only for a few seconds when the engine first fire up?
it cuts out very occasionally. usually when its warmed up. might do it once then not do it for a month then again itll do it. usually only once or twice though at any one time. starts back up straight away.

ive had this problem on my 7mge auto for a while. ive removed the afm and checked it with a multi meter. it seems fine. ive also removed the throtle body to check the tps. it reads as follows.
no feeler gauge between lever and stop screw. 0.85 ohms
0.40mm between lever and stop screw...
ok here are a couple ofpics of where the system is fouling up.
perhaps if i go out and see what its like hanging from just the very back 2 hangers then see if i need to remove / modify the centre ones
ive just fitted a stainless exhaust to my car. it has approx 2 1/2 inch pipe diameter. i have tried hooking it up with the standard exhaust mount o rings which are approx 2 1/2 inch outside diameter. but with these the exhaust just catches the rear subframe. ive asked a friend to look through...

Ive replaced one of the lines from tank to filter 3 times on my car now. i was underneath the other day to remove the exhaust and it looks to be breaking down again.
no, the part is located about 100 miles from where i live. my car curently has no exhaust back section. the guy who owns it sent measurements of the flange to me and they seem very similar from what i could tell.

i put mine in for test a while back with part of the exhaust system missing. it absolutel sailed through the emissions tests no bother and its got 100k miles on the car.
is there any difference between pre facelift and facelift nose sections? (the part with the toyota badge on the front above the radiater grille)

ok i just checked ebay out. i can buy a new receiver/dryer for like £33
they do cans of r134a on there aswell for like a tenner. ive never seen these in any shops before. it comes with leak stopper and oil aswell,
is that the sort of stuff u guys use? I would just replace the dryer...
after reading the other a/c thread i thought id ask a couple of questions on my system.
the light comes on at the dash board. however the compressor clutch wont engage. apparently if the system goes low on gas it trigers a fault code??
