torque converter question

does anyone know if the n/a torque converter and the turbo torque converter in the supras are the same? and if not could the still work in either tranny. i have a turbo auto supra with a bad tranny and i got a n/a tranny and just wanna kno if it'll work b4 i start swappin

I think it would work. They won't have the same stall built into them, due to the large torque difference.

You won't get as much multiplication if they are different inside.

turbo box has slightly stronger inside stuff. dunno bwt the tc tho
