The line that goes to the TB comes from around the block on the other side I think.
Not a very good diagram, I believe you can omit the hard lines and use hose. I omitted the line going to the TB.
Buy the sounds of it the motor has been over-heated several times, and with the evidence of white foam, I wouldn't hesitate rebuilding the motor completely. It's just a matter of time before you're going to have some major problems.
As Cuel suggested, tear it down, have a shop check...
I remember it happening to me also, been so long ago, no smell that I remember, thought the samething that something was burning. I was in Florida when it happened, so maybe something to do with humidity.
Now back to this warlock thing....oh wait you said witch....did you hate your 1st grade...
Calibration
There are two types of calibration for the LC-1: free air calibration and sensor heater calibration.
Sensor heater calibration and first free air calibration is automatically performed the first time a
new sensor is used, while free air calibration should be executed frequently...

Don't do Ocra, was channel surfing and waiting for the news, happened to see a MK III smokin tires, caught my interest, I'll keep a eye out for Oprah for ya though CRE.;)

I have a 88 and it's a round small canister with a button like on the end that the wire slides on. And on the other end about a 1/4" threaded nipple that threads into the block. It's about 2" in diameter.
You need to take it to the machine shop and let them check it, if it's not to bad they can surface it. If you need another, what Dumbo suggested would be a quick check to see if it's within limits.
