Everybody has their price Mo, but they are worth more to me in my motor than you would want to pay:) Although I think I can get you a better price than $771.
That is rod knock. You are going to have to rebuild the bottom end also. Probably happened when the HG blew, bearings don't like coolant, oil won't stick to them after that happens.
Powerslots are OK, I have them and they work well and seem to be made well, don't know were they are made. Bigger brakes are good for any car, if I could swing it I'd get the package that Doward is suppling. They always rag on the NA's don't pay any attention. I've had mine on the track at...
How many miles on the motor, what octane fuel are you running, what is your timing set at, did you gap the plugs when you put them in? I can think of a few more questions for you, so yes maybe you are being a little vague :)
Check the general section, there's a group buy by Doward looks like a pretty good setup on the brakes.
Most have gotten parts and pieces at an auto store to make an intake kit, Cre has one listed in the Maft-Pro questions thread, I think it is for a Honda Civic and it can be ordered on line.

Hose #17341D is the hose that goes to the intake tube and to the power steering air valve on top of the power steering pump.
You can cap the hole on the intake tube for now, just won't have any power steering.
ARP studs are not needed nor a MHG on a GE. The head should be checked by a machine shop, they can also tear it down, do the valve job and clearence the valves. The bottom end should also be done if you want it to last a while.
