    Compression test and block test are different. Block test kit you can get at NAPA, it will test for compression gases in the coolant. Compression test and leak down test most times will show a BHG.

    May have already damaged the key, crank pulley, or the end of the crank. Shouldn't be driving it that way.

    I'd check the plugs on the AFM and other plugs to make sure they are making good connection before I'd replace the harness.

    Check the wire that goes to the sensor on the thermostat housing it was making a bad connection on mine and just squeezed it closed a little.

    Are you saying the clutch is slipping? Did you adjust the freeplay?

    Torque spec to get those suckers out is "a lot". They are usually kind of welded in there from years of heat cycles and corrosion.

    With any cam upgrade you have to upgrade other things to take advantage of any usuable power from cams. The more you can get it to flow the better the cams will work.

    I think the coolant line to the TB is used to keep ice from forming, not cool it.

    Web Cams, They have a couple of different grinds. Didn't even have to be degreed. They asked me if I was going to degree them, I suppose they can grind anything you can come up with.

    You can also have yours hard welded and reground, what I did, that way they are pretty much a drop in :)

    A lot of guys forget to rotate the motor a couple of revolutions by hand after installing the timing belt, then check to make sure all the marks line up again, cam gears, crank pulley, etc.

    Sounds like the timing belt to me. But I'm not as good with sounds as CRE is :) BTW CRE, how does a 7M sound with the valve lash adjusted right?
