dude, go big! you wont regret it. i have 272 small cores and stock springs/retainers...doing just fine. pulls HARD all the way till redline. i only lost 3-5 mpg.

get a part number and the maker. google it and you should find your answers. injectors should have a number on them.

first off, BUY AN ALREADY SWAPPED 1JZ/2JZ. you've never done this so you will be in for some hurt. these go for like 5-8k all the time. i know a guy selling a 2jz mkiii singled for 7k. just sell your supra and get that.
secondly i get better gas mileage with my 1jz then i get in my corolla...
what does your air/fuel mixture look like when it sputters like that? i know in the morning my truck will do that:

i never had the pump on so when i added it, i had no clue how it goes either. right now it pivots up and down on the top bolt. what i did was i just put a nut with lock washer behind the main bolt and it holds up fine, it squeeks every start up though..annoying!

your bearings wont rust or anything. i had an engine laying in the garage for over a year and rebuilt it, primed the motor real good before start up, and it ran awesome.
with that many gasket repair it wouldnt suprise me that theres a sleight crack, just the more possibility of it being over...

id do what degree said, just use some vinyls. make a decal on a printer and print it on there. cut out the letters. spray whatever color.
