yeah...my 1jz gave me horribly weird symptoms when i had my alternator go out. and the stupid thing is i did everything and checked everything but the alternator wires. one of the wires that goes into the alternator broke off.
have someone jump start you just to make sure its not a bad...
the cps is notorious for breaking wires. take a careful look at the cps wires as they get really hard and brittle from age. i bet its that also. if thats good, check to see if you are at least getting spark at the plugs.
yeah, i forgot who, but someone on supraforums was running a 7m pickup in the 9's with i believe stock manifold.

you need to fix that check engine light before anything. i tried looking on the supra tsrm but didnt find code 11, so couldnt help you out much there.
i doubt the bov will cause you problems like that esp if it was fine before the hg fix.

i too seriously have to look for an alternative solution other then having my foot on the throttle when cold. it wont hold idle unless its warmed up.

i guess the tensioner itself unbolts from the engine and you have to hydraulic press it back down.
i wonder if i could just tighten it up and it would eventually force...
installing my cams this week and the only question i have is how does the timing belt tensioner gets its tension?
