In on a group buy if one gets started. Thats 2 less hoses I have to buy from Toyota. Now if they could do like Samco was doing and make EVERY hose on the car.
Friend of mine is doing his GTE swap in his 87 car, and his harness is from an 89. Obviously the harnesses do not match up. What can be done about it? Are we looking at repinning most every connector between the 2, or is their another easier way? I haven't had opportunity to investigate...
You most likely arced the battery off and cooked it. Have you had the battery tested? I've accidentally hit both terminals before and it did no damage, but your battery could of been in worse health than mine was at the time.
It is, but you'd have to replace the center section in the rear, as the molding is made on to it,and that would also cause you to have to upgrade to 89+ tails. I'm actually preparing to do this very thing, but with good shape used moldings.
While the suspension gods are watching, I'll ask my question along the same line. What spring would you suggest for me, as a semi-dd, with a Kaminari kit? I plan on running whitelines with a set of the Illumina II's. Also, would a JIC lower arm bar and possibly mid bar not be worth the effort...
Subscribed for this very same question. Linear spring rates stay the same stiffness regardless of how compressed it is. Progressive springs get stiffer and thus more harsh the more they are compressed. Progressive would probably suit our needs the best, as they are softer when cruising.
Could have almost no amperage on the white/green. Are you sure your grounding is good? I tried looking for the diagram of how it worked, but electrial diagrams from the online TSRM are a pain in the ass at best.
Before it is said, PLEASE, do not mention any inspectors or stations. I could see that going very badly for the inspector. I myself have not received an inspection ticket yet, but I would be a very mad inspector if a thread on SM caused me to get a ticket. If you have a hookup, PM the guy.
He has replied to me twice today. SO far I've asked for a quote on
Headlight covers
Console
Hood
Mirrors
Headlight covers
I'm thinking about asking about
Hatch
Kick panels
targa headliner
Targa top
Any other input?
Highly incorrect. The only law exempting any cars from inspection is the 35 year rule. If the car is 35 or older it doesn't have to be inspected any more. The only tint law excluding anything is that if it is considered a truck, suv, or van you can have as dark as you want behind the drivers...
If the cop is having a bad day, he can pull you for tint. But, if it doesn't look like you got a can of spray paint and painted your windows, he will most likely not notice unless you are being a jackass. The technical rule is 35%, but their is a 3% margin of error for the tint meter, so...
