How did you drill new holes in the plate? It looks to me like if I line it up with 1 set of holes, the other set are inside the actual diameter of the hold down ring.

I have the Kaminari, and it REALLY isn't that bad. It works well with a full Kaminari kit, but I do agree that when I get my 89+ tails put on that it will work much better.
