That helps a hell of a lot. I know exactly where it goes now. I will probably go with the shortest bolt I can and still get it to tighten. Thanks a lot.
If it isn't too much trouble that would be great, I think I know where it bolts, but I want it right, I've spent too much on this thing to get something simple wrong.
I know it looks as if it has to mount on the turbo, but I'd like to make sure I put it in the right place, as that will help me make sure the depth of the tube into the boss in the block is right, to make sure my oil level is correct and it doesn't leak
I am finally finishing reassembling my GTE after many, many months of being apart, and I need some help remembering a small detail. I'm sure I've have several of these threads in the next month as I try to remember how things exactly work. But, first to the dipstick tube. Where exactly does...
How did you drill new holes in the plate? It looks to me like if I line it up with 1 set of holes, the other set are inside the actual diameter of the hold down ring.
I am finally winding down my 5 speed swap, but hit a road block tonight. Is their supposed to be a difference in the holes drilled in the body for the lower shifter boot retaining ring vs the automatic shifter assembly? Their is at least an inch difference in my car, and it is frustrating the...
I am going to most likely put my freshly powder coated cam covers back on in the next few days. My question is, what is the best method of tightning down the bolt that go to a crazy low torque setting? I have switched out to stainless bolts to get away from the screws. So, what method do you...

Did you say they just do a high idle test? Normally when the car isn't loaded you will have very little to no Nox output, just some food for thought for you.

I have the Kaminari, and it REALLY isn't that bad. It works well with a full Kaminari kit, but I do agree that when I get my 89+ tails put on that it will work much better.
