if your really going to be happy with just 350whp, and you want that to be reliable as possible, then you can do stock internals.
Pistons - i would get .20 over just so you can set the piston to wall clearance and get the sides coated with moly, the crowns ceramic coated, and the underneath...
10 days 100% closed like how it is (i have 5 bands in like 5 different spots in my mouth)
however many days after that with just 1 or 2 bands holding on

i had a "pro" shop install mine (only because they were suppose to set the clearance) on the last block we did, my dad did them. we used a axle nut socket, fits like a glove and never had any issues.
i helped my friend install a perin intake on his WRX... i'll never buy perin products, the fitment was horrible, and it was a bitch to try and get the clamps on. plus you had to take out the nipple things in order to even shove it under the intake manifold.

thats for damn sure. if i ever bought a running stock supra. first things to go in are:
NEW Water Pump
NEW Thermostat
NEW Aftermarket Radiator (koyo or pwr)
Fressh Coolant flush
NEW Radiator hoses
but i just buy rod knocked supras so i take care of most of those already. haha :biglaugh:
