I removed the hoses going to the PS unit without any problems...all it is suppose to do is idle up the engine when turning the wheel so the PS doesn't stall the engine.
I'm not saying this should be done...but it should be talked about.
People should be able to take care of them self’s in a perfect world but there are to many idiots out there and a little help is needed from a higher power now and then to protect those idiots.
I'm sure we have all done...
I went for a small drive Sunday down Hwy 250, the part that runs between 3 and 7...anyways most of 250 very curvy and fun to drive.
Yeah better do something before you sell it to someone that will get BHG before they make it homz.
Fuel cut is very harsh...if I hit it in 2nd gear it will screech the tires when the power comes back on...
It could be a boost leak but from what I have had happen to me and seen others when you have a bad boost leak you will only get a few psi and it will be cutting out all over the place. I...
Wow thats seems like a good price...so I contacted them and shipping to Indiana is 450 bucks so you're up to about the price of what the other guys are charging without shipping.
They also come with a 30 day warranty. They do compression, leakdown and startup tests they said.

If I had the money I would do it today...its the next thing I want to do to the car. But I'm broke until next year...just wondering if anything else could be causing that...I don't think so but thought I would share my info and see what people thought.
I hooked up my boost gauge last night and found out I'm at about 12.5-13 psi at about 3000 rpm's but then drops off to about 8 psi at 5500 rpms...that explains the Torque Numbers I'm getting down low and how its dropping off so much.
What I don't understand is how I'm getting 240 at the wheels...
She is a girl all  right  ...I hope that is good pain you are feeling there :aigo:
anyways...that rust looks really bad...remember most rust starts from the inside and comes out. Only way to really fix this is replace the metal...if you can't do that sand it as well as you can get...

Unless there is alot of smoke its hard to tell if its blueish or white...my guess is valve stem seals. Running some Castrol High Mileage has a good chance of making it better. Though its nothing to really worry about. Thats normal for alot of older engines.
Great idea, I actually decided yesterday instead of getting another 7m and rebuilding it in the future I would just go 1j since the swap looks pretty easy.
I was thinking I would hate to buy a new down pipe or rebuild or upgrade my CT and it go to waste but this opens alot of doors for me...
