I read somewhere(cant find it now) that there is a turbo pressure sensor somewhere on the drivers side engine bay that you can remove if you have an aftermarket boost gauge, which one is it and can i really with no ill effects? basically just continuing to clean my engine bay up.

I've had mine out for awhile...no ill effects. Pulled it out when I added my GReddy electronic boost gauge.

I recently got a code 31 or 34 (I can't remember, it's been a few weeks) but I think that was fuel cut--I got the code after removing my FCD.

Its got a label on it, its in the general vicinity of the ignitor I think. All it does is send the signal to the boost gauge, so yes, you can remove it if you want to.

That would be the only reason to do it.
It's fine. All it does is control the gauge. There will be no ill effects from removing it, other than a dead stock boost gauge.

if im running 8+ lbs i dont need that anyways, i have an aftermarket Autometer gauge which is the only one i look at so im taking it out just to clean the engine bay, i store all these parts i dont just throw them away so if i ever did need it i would just throw it back on.

Heh, that's what I thought...but the stock boost gauge pegs 8psi when you take the sensor out...it's kinda annoying, at least to me. I ended up getting a voltmeter to put in its place, which is an easy swap.

It's kinda hard to get used to looking somewhere new for the boost gauge, especially after 4+ years of looking in the stock location.

same with that huge vacuum acuator thing that was attached to the cruise control bracket right? i can get rid of that, there are no more lines that need to be connected to it after no cruise control, pressure sensor are gone right?
