when doing the battery relocation the best thing you can do is use a very high quality wire that can handle the load(im using a very heavy insulated wire a little bigger than 0ga), as far as using the EXACT same gauge for the power and ground is irrelevant as long as you have very good grounding...
yea, if they are that willing to give you that much up front they deff. know that they fucked up. even though you dont have the extra cash to go to court right now maybe tell them you are going to sue them and take it further....and as that would look bad on the company image they will prob...
ok, figure Id post mine up nothing too special. the last one is my favorite so far. I also plan on getting one from shoulder to shoulder on my back and poss. getting my nipples pierced too.
ive got that elbow and havent had any issues with it, great fit and im using it with a HKS 3" ceramic coated DP although im finishing my build so the car hasnt actually ran with it so i cant tell you how much of a gain you will get.
it should be the same, the main difference is from when they change motor mounts on the 89+ that it shifted a little bit. Like I said I used the one on my 87 NA motor on my pre 89 gte and had no problems with it fitting at all so that should do the trick for you
yea, poodles is right, by trying to use the wrong one even though you might get it to thread it it prob. isnt seating flat against the washers to give you the correct seal.
you shouldn't have to beat it on period, In my swap between the NA and turbo I reused my NA one due to the fact that the other one did not fit correctly. There are two different lines from what I remember but im not 100% sure. are you using the copper washers above and below the bajo bolts?
Is there a difference between the wiring colors from the pre and post 89 CPS? on my pre 89 harness ive got 1 red, 1 green, 1 yellowish, and 1 black. On my CPS ive got 2 yellowish, 1 green and one red. can anyone help me out on this one?
thanks
Ok, couldnt find this part anywhere, are the resistors I have to change 1/2 or 1/4 watt? I already know what ones to change and where they go. I believe they are 1/4 but none of the electronic stores had anything close to the resistances that I needed. (this is switching between a NA to turbo)...
If you want it easy and simple, get a FMIC, and a FFIM then your piping is easy, shorter, and still get the benefit of having direct airflow from the front.
