If you're looking at black, check out a 2007 Black Mica Mazdaspeed3. The paint is very black in dim light, but in sunlight it has a nice blue and silver mica in it. That's what my 07' speed3 is.
If your uncle has a leakdown tester he probably also has a combustion leak tester. It detects CO2 in the bubbles coming out of the radiator or coolant overflow bottle. Ususally it has a blue fluid that turns green or yellow if there's CO2 present.
Even if he doesn't have one they only cost...
Yeah, you're probably right... the sad thing is that most hondas don't have struts either! All the civics from 88' to 01', all the integras, all accords... all double wishbone front and rear.
The best place to tie the shock towers into would be a roll cage, it would increase the bending...
I have the TSRM for the car, but it only talks about watching the CEL.
I didn't realize how easy it was to pull the cluster to change the bulb, it takes 5 minutes, so I went ahead and put a new bulb in the CEL. Problem is it still doesn't light up. Now I'm not sure if I have an ECU problem or...
I'm trying to read the engine codes on a 2JZ-GE, but the CEL blub was taken out because it was "always lit up" :nono:. Is there another way to read the codes, like hooking a test light up to something in the check connector? I would pull the cluster and put a bulb in if it were my car, but it's...
If you want to save about $50 get a power steering pressure hose for a 94 Maxima. I used it on mine and it fits perfectly. It also eliminates the power steering idle up valve, which isn't needed anyway.
It's the charcoal canister purge control valve. You don't need it if you don't have a charcoal canister (as in, if you eliminate it). If you have to pass a strict visual emissions inspection then you'll need it. If you search around the junk yard I'm sure it's close enough to one that's on a...
The 1JZ flywheel is for an R154 trans, which uses a pull type clutch. The W58 uses a push style clutch. They aren't interchangeable at all.
You need a flywheel ($300), bellhousing ($300), clutch fork ($60), slave cylinder ($30), and performance clutch kit ($450+) for a 93+ Supra non-turbo. Then...
Keep in mind with those codes... you can trigger them if you unplug any sensors while the key is on. So don't chase after a code if you might have triggered it yourself. Clear them and run it again to see what codes come up without you touching anything under the hood.
Like was mentioned...
5. Tems shock motor plug I believe
14, 15, 17.... either ABS sensor wires or the brake fluid level sensor wire, they all have similar plug ends. Tracing the wires will tell you what they're for as the plugs like this are on the ABS sensor side, so it will lead to the wheel sensors if they are...
The one right below the top one goes to the idle valve on the other side via a pipe that wraps around the back of the valve covers, which is missing in the pic. I have that pipe if you need one.
The very top pipe goes to the heater valve which should go on the firewall just out of frame to the...
Have you tried just resetting the ECU? I had washed my car once and the water caused a misfire, which made the ecu add way too much fuel, and when things dried out the car was running horrible. Clearing the ecu fuel trims fixed it for me. Just disconnect the battery for a minute and that will do...
Yeesh.
I know where some of those plugs go, but throw some numbers on your plugs in the pictures with microsoft paintbrush or something so I can tell you what number plug is for what. Otherwise trying to explain what plug in what picture I'm referring to is pretty hard to do.
I can say you...
Wait, going to full rich as soon as you cross the 0psi threshold isn't normal from what I've seen... Usually You don't need to run a full rich 12:1 AFR till you get up above about 35kpa (5 psi). I usually taper AFR from 14.7 to 12:1 between -35 kpa to +35 kpa manifold pressure, depending on what...
