The biggest proof it wasn't faked is that the Russians would have been the first to call it as a fake. Logic and reason escape these people (but I will say I do believe in many other "conspiracies")

    Rear BBK anyone?

I knew I wasn't crazy  Miata has a stepped hub as well, the area for the rotor to sit is larger than the face for the wheel. It simply looks tapered when it has rust on it though >.> Haven't touched the Supra in a long time so wasn't sure if ours had the same setup.

    1j?

Shifter and tranny sit in the same spot... It also has 100 more HP... Something was wrong with that swap.

    1j?

Kali + 1JZ = no Unless you like being hassled by cops. Also, going 2J is about the same cost these days since the easy to swap front cuts have all but disappeared. The ones left aren't cheap like they used to be.

Any experiences with the Rigid Collar product on a MKIII?

LOL @ improves noise and vibration. If you rigidly mount the subframes, noise and vibration will be worse not better. Then again this is for vehicles without isolators like our cars. Aluminum subframe spacers would be required to get any real benefit from them.

Vaseline Targa fix. Yes or no?

Shin-Etsu grease is badass stuff. Highly recommend it for many things (for instance greasing window tracks as it doesn't cake and doesn't attract dirt like other greases).

Theory v. Practice: Wideband sensor location

100,000 miles is normal and intended (as it's when warranties run out on modern cars...) You're going to cook that sensor that close to the turbo, but if you're using a cheapish sensor that's not a huge issue (hell, some of the OEM wideband O2's are cheaper than a replacement for our...

A good portion of you boneheads needs to read this-

My girlfriend does this one all the time, and it drives me NUTS. “the toddler spilled his milk on accident." The one about hunger pains is a bit wrong too. Hunger pangs are the medical term referring to the pains caused by the contractions. No doctor would correct you on that...

    Wiper Issue

About the only thing the two systems have in common are the fuse (just rip the damn thing out and replace/inspect/ohm it out) and that there controls are both on the same stalk and wiring harness.

    Brake upgrades

Yes, but on a track or race car, you know they're expendable, and inspect them often. Much like heim joints on a road car.

    Weak 7MGTE

Not really as the car cycles rich/lean and does some other odd quirky things for very good reasons. A narrowband gauge is mostly just a light show as you have no idea how lean you really are or how to tune correctly for it. Yes and no. Not richer, but it will retard timing to stay safe so...

    Brake upgrades

Skip the crossdrilled rotors... They crack, fail, and aren't very smart on a street car (it's also a damn fad considering that modern brake pad material doesn't outgas like the old stuff)
