You can always return the shocks ;)
My setup is a used setup I found on here. Seems to be an old setup that bilstein made, has threaded bodies up front and normal 3 spot adjustable in rear with what I assume to be bilstein springs as well. Tops are cusco pillowballs.
Not bad, but it was a...
Guess where I work
They're VPD parts, so they're drop shipped direct from the supplier. They've added the ability to drop ship directly to your home now instead of the store!
You can always look up the parts online and walk in with the part numbers, or simply order online as well.

Height adjustment would be pointless as you already have drop springs.
However, the autozone shocks are indeed the same as bilstein only makes one set for our cars now.
Shifter sits in the exact same spot. Unless he had a different transmission, or was just dumb, it will sit in the exact same spot as the original shifter.
You're more than likely paying for the name and not the part.
Also, it looks like maybe they come with aluminum subframe spacers as well. Not a bad kit, but I wouldn't ever do it simply from a noise and vibration standpoint.
I'm assuming you mean you put the silicone in the drip rail on the outside? Yeah, you essential make a dam that forces the water in if it's blocked. I know the front is supposed to be clear so it can drain forward, I can't remember if the rear is blocked or not (I think it is though).
Try...

Also, the O2's that monitor the catalytic converters' function are quite easy to eliminate :P They serve no purpose other than to flag a code and a MIL for emissions reasons anyway...
Honestly, I've never seen a new O2 sensor not come with antisieze on the threads (all protected by a...
No rust down here (we don't use salt during the winter) :)
If you happen to live in an area that does use salt, subframe bolts are probably the least of your worries...
It's pretty well known in the Miata world. As the cars are convertibles, there's a lot of rubber seals that rub against each other, and the window tracks and felts are known for getting gummed up and breaking the regulator. You can use the grease on the felts and it allows the glass to slip...
Retorquing the subframes will make a significant difference on many cars. Mine for example was VERY loose on the front (threads where showing between the nuts and subframe)
