Curious what your width/offset/tire size is on the wheels that you don't rub. I got some 19's with a wide offset but I'm planning on pulling my fenders.
I checked out my TPS today. Measured the resistances. All were working except one: E - V (I can't remember if that's the correct label). The connection was open between the two (between pins 1 and 4) instead of reading ~4.5Kohms.
I unplugged the TPS and it idled "ok" with a slight miss...

I would be up for the lightest adjustable sway bars you are willing to do a GB for. Only in it if they are adjustable though. Weight... I guess I don't really care that much but the lighter the better.

I would have no problem going up there for a meet. I'm in Spokane every weekend the only issue for me is whether or not the Supra is up and running.
This is kind of a "meh" post but I'm excited to get these things on. It's going to require some pulling of the fenders, creation of adjustable control arms/A-arms, and re-drilling the hubs for the different bolt pattern. I should have mock up pics in the next week or so but I won't have tires...
Only the 89+ has LEDs. Unless he put them in there himself, in which case I would hope he could figure out how to fix them.
You should just be able to take the wing off, pull off the lense (screws or whatever, I don't have one), see why they aren't working. Could be a bad connection/solder...
If you want a 5-speed then the swap is definitely worth it. Biggest downfall I've come across is that I like to hammer through the gears every chance I get and end up with not-so-good gas mileage.
