    87 Turbo coolant channel vs 89+

    Anyone know if the coolant channel the thermostat housing bolts onto is compatible through the MK3 model years (86.5 to 88 versus 89+) ? The coolant sensors are different I do know that, but can I use a 91 coolant channel on my 87 ? Any ideas? Thanks

    Do not take out the Idle Speed Control. If you do you will get a revving idle (go from 1500 RPM down to 500 and loop). This is not something to just take out. Read the TSRM.
