i defintaley agree about the "hidden" exhaust... i've been debating the whole running the muffler to the back... i think im just going to get a 3'' cat, and weld a muffler to the cat, and then my 3'' turn down tip to that muffler, so that way it will have some muffling... haha
and it would be...
the funny part about those numbers is i just figured out the volume of all of those! for a 6 inch pipe... but im more interested in the volume the pipe can flow rather than the area of the pipe...
whatever you end up doing though, you should take some pics and show what you used to make it all up.
so i was wondering why we were having compressore surge on my friends 16g... ends up he left a rag in the IC piping when he redid it... lucky for him the bov had it snagged... LOL
no more compressor surge either!
if you really want a 3.5'' cat, you could get this one

cut it a little where it clares, and then weld on the 3.5'' flanges...
and why not...
normally you install the compressor nipple going IN the boost controller against the ball and spring and then the outlet obvisouly goes to the wastegate... you dont need the little t box.
and like the other guy said you have to install it backwards. as the compressor nipple goes to the...
hes no weenie behind the wheel, just doesnt launch it because he never needs too! hes only launched it 3 times. hes just a good driver and knows how to beat on it and when not to.
no egr delete... as that would just create more issues IMO.
both of them are going to go link after they get...

thats the kit im using, if you want i'll take pictures of all of the gaksets to show waht you get.. pretty sure it comes with double layer exhaust manifold gasket. and the intake manifold gaskets are really nice too.
the one guy with the v-trim has been driving it like this for 4+ years now at that power level, he was also using water meth, so i think thats what kept the motor together and clean!
we recently did his timing belt and a set of HKS 264/272 cam combo, i still need to re-tune his car because its...
the maint point for me was the rust blocker. haha. and it holds up to the heat, so i figured why not...
and this is DIRECTLY from a can of VHT flame proof:
OFF the vehicle
bake at 250 for 30minutes then let cool for 30 minutes
bake at 400 for 30minutes then let cool for 30 minutes...
i said taps, not helicoil caps! :sarcasm:
i dont see why driftmotion isnt handling this... i mean, he bought the kit from them right? lol
if all else fails, go buy a heli coil kit either online or at a local auto parts store.
what were you told to set low to? 68% souunds kinda high... but every car is a little different.
are you using a SAFCII or a Neo?
cause the SAFCII only goes in 200RPM increments... haha
taps can be found at a hardware store, not a home depot place, but a place that has lots of tools, bolts, washers, ect. and there normally under $10 for a good tap.
