T1R make some really nice titanium ones. a real bargin at $510 for a set of 20.
i use muteki lugs on mine. they are small, lightweight, and 1008 steel. you can pick up a set from ebay for ~$35
i still have mine, but it has a small crack over on one side.
would be nice to have a new one. most people now just use the flex loom stuff.
who the hell let you out of OT section and why arent you registered for dayton? ;)
there are 2 different versions of the rx-7 wheels. the later ones that have extra reinforcement on the spokes weigh more. but agreed, my scale isnt the best. just curious how the 5spk and blades were real close in weight and others say they are a lot lighter. maybe these were really really...
yep, like i said. the 550cc from pte on ebay ARE NOT flow tested and matched. i can get them, but do not sell them. id rather offer the more expensive, more realiable, tested, matched, and proven injectors from pte (580cc).
you can always get them and have them tested before you install...
i use the TL80A kit. comes w/ premium leads, gator clips, and long thin tips.
its about $50 and comes w/ a jazzy fluke case.
edit-
i thought i might add another. a comp called pomona makes a test lead kit that is decent too and 1/2 the price. they work fine w/ the fluke meter...
why were the ones we had so heavy? maybe the 91 and 92 are different? i wouldnt think so. jdm version?
they were no where near as light as my rx-7 rims at 14lbs
weighed a few different ones.
sawblades were 24lbs
91 5 spoke were just a tad under that, maybe 23.5lbs.
it was just a bathroom scale, nothing real scientific.
certified means they have gone thru the safety tests. a non certified seat means it is of unknown quality and safety which could result in a collapsed seat and broken neck in a crash.
that is why i wont buy ebay seats. yeah they are cheap, but id rather not have one break apart in a crash.
looks cool. did you put the factory cover back on? ive seen sometimes if you have the factory cover and gauge glass together you get some wicked reflections.
while you were at it you could have put the plx in place of the factory clock haha.
thats a kickass stereo you have too!
parker makes some real nice high pressure oil hoses. really tough stuff and wont seep thru. plus they are local.
b&m coolers are nice, near indestructable unlike the fin type.
sean looped the in and out on his to keep fluid in the rack. i think it drives awesome. real responsive, and great road feel. the only downside is parking lots but i always park out in the middle of nowhere anyway so it isnt much concern.
mine is working fine, no leaks. im not gonna go...
aem support isnt all that wonderful.
honestly, youd get more support on the megasquirt. hands down motec has the best support, but thats a far cry from what you wanna spend.
if you are looking at a cheaper method, you may consider the msquirt or even that stinger setup driftmotion has.
