Where is the CHEAPEST place to get an AEM EMS?

As the title states... where is the cheapest of the cheap to get an EMS for an 88?

I'm almost ready to buy one, and I don't feel like spending $1800 for it... :(

You don't have to post here, pm it to me if you don't want the world knowing....

Honestly, I'd like to spend around 1300..... maybe 1400....

I need to find someone that buys direct from AEM in volume... the unit can't be that expensive at wholesale. I mean, there might be $299 worth of electronics in it... Internally, it probably isn't much more complicated than megasquirt, it just has support and a huge company backing it.

aem support isnt all that wonderful.

honestly, youd get more support on the megasquirt. hands down motec has the best support, but thats a far cry from what you wanna spend.

if you are looking at a cheaper method, you may consider the msquirt or even that stinger setup driftmotion has.

You don't want to buy the one in 89Turbo's link? It's not going to get much cheaper than that.

R&D is not AEM. It is GEMS UK and has been since day 1.

Thanks for all the replies guys... I've gotten a few really good prices... I won't discuss who gave them to me or what they were...

BUT... I'll say this is a GREAT community... so many people are willing to help out and give a great deal even if they don't make much cash doing it :)
