the sport turbo wasnt as big as the gt35r. and agreed its better technology.
if you are looking at a bolt on option, there are several available. something around a 57mm would be comparable.
well, back 8yrs ago there wasnt a ton of options.
i guess if you had a standalone, big turbo and lot of rpm they may be badass. but these days there are so many options you can pretty much have some made to your specs for cheaper.
interesting trd cams. i hadnt seen those before.
yep, i have those too. depending on the turbo, they are about the same price as the gt dbb tho. just pay attention to the specs. on certain turbos the dbb version is actually a different size than its journal bearing counterpart.
there were only a handful of hks cams brought to the states.
pete howard had a set, and sold them to reg in canada sev years back.
very rare, and very expensive.
i know erin had the specs for them and had schneider grind him a set to the specs back a few years ago.

on a digi meter its a lot harder to test since it happens so fast.
either way, id just pick up a used one. its not a high failure item and i believe new they are on the spendy side.
if you unbolt the stock tranny cable and pull it out from behind the motor there is actually quite a bit of length to it.
one thing you have to be sure of is the cable is pulled full open when the throttle is full open.
here is mine. stock cable mounted on a custom tbody linkage.

and adjuster, usually they have smallish a/r on them.;
edit-
here is a pic of a gn turbo. and my list says they are only avail in .63 and .85 a/r. as reference, the buick housing is a little larger than a...
if you want people to help you, please use some punctuation. its difficult to read.
that being said, it makes it a little more difficult being an auto. you have to fab up something for the line pressure cable. if you unbolt it and unwrap it from the motor you have quite a bit to work with...
