You could crack the throttle body open with the adjustment screw on the top of it...? Not really sure what you're talking about with the cable from the transmission, the speedo cable that goes through the firewall? You'll have to do more than just bolt one on too..

He's talking about the "kick down" cable...it increases line pressure based on throttle plate position.

Correct I'm talking about the kickdown cable sorry I forgot what it was called there for a moment. So if I wer to crack the tb with the adjustment screw you think it would be the right A/f mix thanks for the help though.

Yeah...just used the more more common name I've seen around here. Line pressure cable is the correct term.

Nice pulley IJ ;)

What is with people wanting to ditch the ISC lately? :3d_frown:

Ian, this might sound a little crazy, but you should build a coil cover that's level with the front timing cover... looks like it'd clear the coils you've got mounted on the valve covers - put some vents in it, and I think that'd be damn sexy on your motor!

We don't have a "kickdown cable" ......

It's a line pressure cable.

I just had a +240mm cable made and machined up a pully for the TB I use.

if you unbolt the stock tranny cable and pull it out from behind the motor there is actually quite a bit of length to it.

one thing you have to be sure of is the cable is pulled full open when the throttle is full open.

here is mine. stock cable mounted on a custom tbody linkage.
