i'd rock a vert 240sx... im actually kinda lookin for one. either that or a miata... i just like convertibles..
sucks they only made it in auto though...
its not ok to drive drunk and hurt yourself... thats like saying if you shoot yourself in the foot its ok as long as your the one who did it.
driving + drunk = ultimate failure. NO other questions.
but yeah, lawyer fees are gonna stack up quick for something as hefty as this...
first off: your a fuckin retard. NO girl is worth drunk driving over... shit... should have gone around and stripped and yelled 'that stupid bitch' or something...
second: i hope your ok, in lots of pain, but ok.
third: im glad it wasnt in a supra... haha
and this is more than just the...
6 months? damn... i give it like 2 weeks. he drove on that bhg until he got the milkshake of death. and we all know how fast that milkshake goes through the engine... reading the oil thread is one of the best things i ever did.
if your not putting the oil squirter into the threads perfectly straight, they dont like it. mine all went in nice and smooth.
try use a swivel head socket.
just fine a radiator hose thats fits... cause 90% of the stores in my area dont have 1''... or get those universal rad. hoses with the spring inside.
i know you werent. but i was confused... why ditch such a custom setup for such a... lame setup?
i just dont like SF cause its not sectioned at all... its just all BAM MK3. and thats it... haha
so far i have no complaints. just make sure the machine shop sets up the piston to wall clearance right. and the fact you got those rods for FREE is fuckin awesome!
my car has forged pistons, and theres no slap, no odd noises, or anything! its actually a little quiter then i thought it would...
this is the tech section, not the argue section... run whatever oil you want in your car. i'll stick to whats been proven to do the best job.
(ever think that maybe your motor had other problems? like the oil pump??)
you need a large vacuum line hooked up to the nipple on the HKS BOV from the intake manifold, just run the line from where the stock one is.
you'll most likely block off the return port on the rubber intake, but if you can, i would recirculate it.
your trying to say that your supra would have been fine with 170k miles on it if you would have kept the same oil in it... im sorry, but your in fantasy land. the fact your supra made it to 170k miles is awesome.

never been in a v8 have ya? my girlfriends jeep that has a v8 swap, her oil pressure gauge is at 80ish psi on a cold start up... so uhh... its not like there 'low pressure'...
german castrol is pretty cheap compared to redline, and its been on a special sale here lately for the past 2...
i wouldnt mind. shoot me a pm or something next time you come to tracy. (i dont leave tracy that often, unless im going to pick and pull!!!!)
is it modded at all? i know there like half the displacemtn of the supra, but there also like half the weight!
sold my 86.5 today... hopefully he'll join up on here.
but tomorrow i finally get to drive my turbo on the streets legally... haha
although i wanna go to pick and pull to get a new turbo clutch fan since i put the stock one onto the 86.5 to smog it... but whatever...
wtf? why 10-40? somebody hasnt been reading the oil faq... 0-30 or 5w30... the 40w doesnt do any 'better'... and lucas? i doubt thats going to do any more good to his probably pissed off motor...
