you've never read the link posted by jdub then... and if your blasting apart oil filters, i would be more concerned with why it happened in the first place.

im gonna go test out the egr system and probably pull the valve and clean it all out... i know we had to clean it to pass smog the first time, but it also had an intake manifold with a thick film of oil and grease! haha UPDATE: EGR vavle does work, because the car runs rough, but doesnt...

got a new o2 sensor, so thats done with. new rad cap and new thermostat... what was your ignition timing at time of smog (for anybody who has passed) and my car was originally from hawaii... if that makes a difference. but im going to go 'burp' my coolant system now... Edit: if...

o2 should be good, but im still over-heating on the rollers... gonna go to autozone and get a new thermostat and rad cap... but we bought the o2 sensor within the last 3 years (about 20k on it now) same with the cat...

how long did it take you to install the alarm? i want to, but not sure if i wanna tap that many wires! nice build though, looks like you know what your doing! good luck on the transmission rebuild too.

ends up i had code 22... im thinking the smog tech might have hit the connector (cause the connectors are OLD and sometimes dont stay on very well)
