if your not putting the oil squirter into the threads perfectly straight, they dont like it. mine all went in nice and smooth.

try use a swivel head socket.

i held them side by side and they look to be the same. i have one of those tools you can use to find out the pitch, but i cant seem to find it.
as far as the crank being installed, it wasnt an issue. i had plenty of clearance to get to the bolts and squirters. i did notice that the hole wasnt on the same plane as the block... it was a little angled with respect the the surface of the block. this troubled me in the beginning, but me and my buddy just couldnt seem to screw them in.

i tried with a u-joint attachment, and it seemed to make it more difficult
