well then the question is who scratched it all up? because it sounds like your dad did...
if your going to use an OEM style gasket, you'll be fine. but dont hope for a awesome seal with a MHG...
did you receive the head in a bag? or was it just on a table somewhere? either way i would have it re-decked, but, measure the distance from the vavle cover gasket to the 'deck' height, because that will determine how large of a HG you buy... the 1.2 will most likely raise your compression more...
thats badass.
but it sounds like it has compressor surge or something, i hear the turbos spool, and then the 'chug chug chug' sound from them... lol
but yeah, the HP gauge was pretty cool.
couldnt help but miss the MAJOR point on it being AMERICAN....
huh... i guess the turbo xs MBC's are different...
but best of luck to ya, hope you get it all figured out. i dont see why you just dont buy a boost gauge though. lol
which turboxs boost controller do you have? because most of them, the bottom port goes to the intake nipple because thats where the entering air is, and it pushes againgst the ball and spring...please double check to make sure its intalled correctly.
and does the blitz have its on line being...
if you have time then just go out there and jack that bitch up! but mark where the eccentrics were BEFORE you start to mess with it, that way you always have a mark to 'fall back on'
be able to drive it...
and then once that miracle happens i wanna attempt to push the ct-26 as far as it will go. and then upgrade to a 57trim, push that to the max, and then after that few years of time, upgrade to a SP57GT DBB and then call it a day. haha
most shops wont touch my supra because who ever did the alignment before i got the car bent the tabs in the rear... but my toe in is ok... and yeah, i have horrible camber wear.... i hate PO...
did you make sure to install it correctly? and have you set the boost on the MBC? turn the knob down a few turns, and does your stock boost gauge register boost or no?
and you may have it hooked up backwards.
