my first thoughts are the bearings being too tight, or the wrong torque on the connecting rod bolts.... cause my motor with spark plugs in wasnt that hard to turn... so im just sayin...
and maybe his version of 'locked' is totally different than mine... who knows. im not there to actually...
just like to make things easier for others. i've searched and edo performance was priced right, and would actually sell it. there are some vendors on here, but i tried to contact them and i got NOTHING in return... so i spent my money else where. shipping was quick too since im in CA.
there no longer made as far as i know... but they pop up every so often in the FS thread, make sure you check here and Supra forums for rare stuff like that. and i've never seen one on ebay...
if your head only had .001 of a dip thats AWESOME. even after i un-torqued the one at the junkyard according to the prodecure, it was .010 off in the middle i think...
im guessing that head was never over-heated then?
how did i KNOW you were going to get a 240.... hahahah
but that black 240 is dumb. ugly. and the bodykit loooks cheaper than even egay.
and you need the front end s13 conversion... i dont like flip ups on the 240.
its the mustang lights. that just KILLS the looks of the car. MK4 lights would have been better...
and if those fenders and doors are rust free, they wouldnt be bad to buy the car for, already shaved moulding (if thats what you want)
overall its a decent car, just some of the...

search harder. 3mm by HKS. $200
http://shop.edoperformance.com/hks-metal-head-gasket-for-toyota-supra-86592-thickness-3mm-p-5407.html
and you could also get a custom size cometic, get in touch with grimsta from zankoku performance... i was talkin with him for a little bit about it.
My W58 felt as good as my R154 that i have in my turbo supra right now. if you have a notchy transmission, or something isnt smooth, its more than likely your transmission is old or you need some new fluid. because mine is SUPER smooth....
or the classic 'drive mod'... haha
im done with this car. its not really affordable for me anymore... im gonna go convert it back to a clutch fan, and put that big ass 14'' as a pusher and have it left on the switch...
although im gonna finish it, it just needs somebody who isnt trying to save every penny... but im still gonna...
i use to be into bikes... BMX, but still bikes. until i dislocated my left knee twice. haha. racing traffic was always the best, and not waiting for lights. i miss those days...
and also, you ever think about selling that mr2 of yours kyle?
and if your going to pull the block, your gonna want the car on the ground... but it depends on how high your hoist goes.
and you may be right 4u2quik... it does look the same.
