all i know is that you TRULY deserve the 'baller' title... i dont travel over to the dark side much... haha... but im glad i saw your build thread over there. i love how the front header panel was molded into the fenders... cleans up the supras body lines very nicely.
i had to laugh when i...
you take off those panels, there a c-clip that holds on the big ass pin in the middle of the clutch fork. you'll see it... just pop that off and then get a screw driver to lift the pin up and out comes the shift fork.... and then apart comes the transmission!
i learned the hardway like you...
wow... you got yourself a good lookin MK3 right there!
and some very tasteful mods... none of that riced out shit!
how do you like the exhaust? too loud or no?
but could defintaley use a good cleanin in the engine bay.
edit: just figured out whats missing...
you took out the...
I have mine hooked up like stock to the big ol' tee thingy from the side of the intake manifold (like stock) and i havent had any problems yet... mines a turbo xs, and i used the largest hose i could... like... 6mm? it was a decent sized hose though.
well i went out this morning, and pulled that little panel thing, everything was fine, but i tested it again and i saw the leds inside working, and my climate control worked when i would turn the head lights on...
20-30miles... more chance then i would take.
im just giving you a fair warning, if you dont replace them dont besuprised if you get a little knock knock on your door...
theres been quite a few cases of, BHG fixes... and then rod knock comes down on them... but if you want to try and flush...
screw doing the head, if you got milkshake you better replace those bearings! i would hate to see it again... heres the process..

get super low on coolant
drive some more
blow the HG so its now leaking into the...
hmm... glad i wasnt doing all of this stuff tonight. i'll skip the jumper thing then. i think my dimmer switch might have gotten unplugged when i yanked out my e-fan switch... but i'll just go through everything in the morning and see wtf is going on...
why would i jumper the wires? or do you mean connect that solder those two wires together?
and i did take the radio out, today, and put it back in cause i had to drive it somewhere... so i guess that could be the problem too...
My cluster lights dont work anymore! WTF.... it just never ends. i put the stock steering wheel on yesterday, if that has anything to do with it. and when i got home tonight i replaced the 'gauge' fuse with a new 7.5amp fuse and it got my climate control lights back (but it still worked even...
i just looked through like all 28 pages of your fuckin aweosme build on SF! and then when i got to the end, i realized you were the one with the 'baller pistons' hahaha...
your car is beyond awesome. post up some new pics of the car!
just FYI, BIC doesnt really make those mounts... go look through the summit racing catalog for transmission mounts. and you'll see his exact mount. all he did was put it all together.
normally the quickest way, but when i leaked a bunch of oil i couldnt really get to it with a can of anything... so i just got a rag and some alcohol and cleaned it all up.
which side of the engine is the leak coming from? front or back?
if your supra does have rod knock, quit driving it, its just going to make things worse.
and you could buy some oil dye and get a black light to see where it all likes to come from, if you cant see down in there and what not.
