Your knowledge of JZA70s is teh fail! It's an exhaust gas temperature sensor. It flashes a warning light if your cat starts to overheat. Yes, you can simply remove it with no ill effects.

Go look on ebay for a Toyota (or scion, maybe even lexus too) double din head unit. Almost all 87+ head units use the same wiring harness. Chances are, you can find one from a tacoma or something.

If you're improperly tuned, and running rich all the time, you will foul plugs quite quickly.

The 1JZ one is in the intake manifold, not the air box. It needs to be to account for heating/cooling of the turbo and IC. 2JZ IAT sensors are the same as 1JZ sensors. I think they're like $40 new from the dealership.

I would like to know that too. you're going to be running into some serious flow limitations if you're running a single pump at that pressure. I run 30psi base with the vac off, which is low, I just haven't bothered to raise it as I'm lazy.

I still say it's the TPS. adjust it properly, not by just playing with it. It's an EXTREMELY precise piece to get right.
