The GT35R (GT3582R) flows more than the GT4082 :) If you don't believe me, compare the flow maps. As for a GT40-88 spooling fast, mine didn't spool until like 4500rpm on my 1JZ. What a lag monster. It's awesome on the 1.5JZ though.

I run them. I couldn't give you any specs on them, other than they're a progressive spring rate though.

it's COMPLETELY different. The clutches between the W series, and R series operate in different directions. They are NOT interchangable in any way.

Cut a piece of cardboard to fit into the hole, trace the pattern on to a pece of MDF (1/2" or 3/4"). Cut out with a jigsaw, then cut a circle in the panel for the speaker. Shouldn't take more than an hour. Plus, you can fit 6 1/2" speakers if you want. Maybe 7".

CDT EF61-FG. Required a bunch of the back cut out of the brackets for depth. For the effort, I probaly would have preferred to make my own.

Just use a coat hanger, and fish a wire through the stock rubber boot. It's not that hard. I fit a 4 conductor, 13ga wire through there, (which is like 3/4" in diameter). It would be pretty easy to fit something smaller. Once you have that through, take off the trim piece on teh door bottoms...

Back to the original discussion, at idle I get about 20psi of oil pressure, and at operating temperature, my coolant sits about 90c, peaking at 96c in extreme conditions, which is almost identical to the OP.

Why a T3/T4? Why not something more modern, and efficient, like a GT35R? To tune the vehicle, first you're going to need something to adjust fuel, and something to monitor the results. Get a wideband O2 sensor, and gauge, then get something like a SAFC to give you some fuel control. Then...

It doesn't matter where the sound is coming from. At a certain volume level, it's going to start vibrating things. And what's your definition of highs? I cross my fronts at 60hz. That's still plenty of shaking potential at that frequency.

My car is a 91. It already has the larger cooler, in addition to a 2nd one I installed as well. Like was suggested, I'm going to check the screen, and put a bigger cooler and filter in anyways. It's cheap insurance.

My doors rattle too. It's the hardware inside that's rattling on mine (rods for latch mechanism). You need to wrap them in some sound deadening, or at the very least, some duct tape.

sweet. A filter sounds like a good idea. I'll get a tranny cooler, and a filter for it asap.

My PB-II only clicked when it was improperly mounted, transmitting the vibrations of the solenoid through the body. I put some rubber underneath it, and it's super quiet now. IIRC, the AVC-R uses the same solenoid as the Greddy ones.

I took my Supra out camping this weekend. There's a long, winding dirt road to get to the camp site, probably 5km or so. I was taking it fairly aggressively, the car was in lower gears (usually 2nd, or 3rd, around 4k rpm), the whole time. About half way down the road, my power steering gave out...

I remember that car. It was pimp. Had a 1JZ in it too. I also believe they did it purely because they wanted to make a "show car"

And it looks more like a pan frying bacon :) Unless I'me confusing it with the JZA70 coolant light. I could never tell what was what.

MKIII 5-spokes are like 16lbs if you can find them.
