bah! My Samsung 56" DLP was like 6 grand 5 years ago. You think $1300 is expensive? Granted, it's not broken :) Needed a new color wheel about a year back ($100 part, I replaced it myself), and it's still on its first bulb (has 7500 hours on it as of last week) I have a spare bulb...

    Map sensor/choking question

Why can't it be the TPS? What you're describing sounds exactly like the acceleration enrichments aren't properly being added (bad, or ms-adjusted TPS) Have you bothered checking teh TPS adjustment? Oh, and the MAP sensor mounts on the firewall behind the intake manifold.

#3 and 4 cylinder not firing!

Parts required to drop tank: -phillips head screwdriver -12mm socket or wrench -17mm deep socket, or wrench -Pliers to get the lines off (maybe a 12 and 14mm wrench for the feed too, I can't remember) I can drop the tank in about 20 minutes if it's near empty, a little longer if I have to...

Stock ByPass Valve on 1JZ question

It won't hurt it without it, it'll work fine. It MIGHT surge, but it's unlikely. I'm going purely from what I would imagine to be correct, as I can't remember how mine was set up, but I would assume the bottom one has a one way valve letting pressure in to it, but not out, and the top one is...

    Mounting Subs in supra's trunk

Trust me, you won't. If you want to do a quick test, run some tones, and see if it gets noticably louder at a certain point. If it doesn't, it's likely flat enough to enjoy. However, with the area of that port, I have a feeling it's tuned quite high.

So if you drive without an oil filler cap....

I did that once too. The hydro fan was on high, and the oil stream poured sideways onto the firewall.

my morning was full of fail!!! "not to be confused full of win"

The only thing I see full of fail is your macro taking abilities. The only ticket I ever got in the Supra, he reduced it to 50 bucks because he liked my car :)

    Stupid USB Portable HDD problem

definitely a power problem. The startup current is causing the ports to go into protection mode and shut off. Normally, you SHOULD be able to power it atleast from two ports, but if you have a crappy motherboard and/or power supply, it won't. Use the powered hub. That should solve all your...

So if you drive without an oil filler cap....

yeah, I drove about 300km with the oil cap off. lol. Nothing happened. I ahve NO idea why it would end up in the intake though.

what's your fuel pressure? I'm gonig to go on a limb and maybe say cold start enrichments, but that's jsut a shot in the dark.

Stock ByPass Valve on 1JZ question

No, it's actually supposed to be a one way valve. IIRC, it allows the valve to hold pressure under the diaphragm when you let off, to open it faster.
