I personally wouldn't duck with the valve...instead I'd remove the material that it is catching on with a diegrinder! Put a nice polish in that area so it won't develop stress cracks and good to go!
Chain hooked too the engine lift hooks...wraped around a 4x4x6' long piece of wood...one side resting on the top shock mount and have a friend pry up the other side and lift the motor...

wheel hop is when you break the rear tires loose and it shakes the car but once you hook up it goes away. wheel hope is very hard on the suspension and very noticeable on wet roads!
