Will, do you use your UPS account number for these shipments? J/W because many UPS Stores (Surch as my store) do not carry the Ground waybills. Or do you email them a label?
I had a boost leak on my MAP based system before, motor revved to redline with no power, felt just like N/A.
You're going to want to find the leak BMBA, and don't floor it because you could screw the turbo from overworking it (turbine isn't bypassed by the wastegate causing it to "overboost").
If the shaft spins freely, there is no smoke, and the fins don't appear to be damaged then it's not the turbo.
I think you have a boost leak that you overlooked.
I have a 2JZGE, but the FPR is setup the same way (2 bolt flange, and tube with o-ring). All I did was take a 12x1.25 tap to the hole (no need to re-drill) and then I used a -6AN to 12x1.25 adapter.

I just wanted to update and say that I've ordered my 044 fuel pump, my surge tank, 870cc injectors, lines and fittings for my new fuel setup. I think some of you will think it's quite interesting. We'll see.
2JZGE-T up and running, just need to install my larger injectors and fuel system so I can run more boost.

This guy did exactly as William is talking about.. Pics are gone but the point is it works. Just as he said. He isn't even running an intercooler tho.
I thought about doing it that way P5150, I was actually going to take an additional factory feed line from a parts MKIII and drill out the pump hanger to accomodate a second feed line. That way you could leave the factory return alone. Just an idea.
Sounds like my plans. I'm going to feed the surgetank with a single walbro, and do dual -6 an lines to the tapped fuel rail fed by a Bosch 044. Feed for the surge tank, and returns will be the stock lines.
