I'm not sure how many D1 cars are running MEGAN but I do know that some of them are running the JIC coilovers. But, I think you should just run the megans because they are cheaper and probably fine. Plus, then you'll have more money in the bank for tires or whatever.

I made my own with a large (8"?) C-Clamp and a piece of pvc pipe that I cut with a hacksaw. I was able to sort of stabilize it but it was still not too sturdy. I definitely wore safety goggles. If you have a friend helping you you can do it no problem.

My 90 is "Medium Gray" I think. It definitely is gray, not close to black at all, not even close to shadow black.

my original bumper was never drilled out either. I'm not about to drill mine out now. You can though. Or, go to Home Depot and build a bracket and mount it behind the bumper for the plate to attach to.

they are fairly equal with advantages and disadvantages. there are tons of threads on this subject with lots of good arguements but also lots of flaming. in the end its up to you.

I'm pretty sure my 90 engine block does not have the extra ribs on the block. Not sure if it is original but it has the 7m crank not the 6m crank so I bet it is. So, just because you have the 7m crank doesn't mean you have the updated block.

The hatch is almost like 4x4.5 because it sort of looks like an oval. Also, aren't the 3.5 speakers in the rear seats open air speakers? Is it even possible to replace these with a regular speaker and have them sound good?
