    bottlenecking?

No real way to tell. Just drive it and if it does go out fix it correctly. We cannot tell you when or if you HG will blow.

My Oil cooler Set-up - Opinions Please

would there be any problem going with a full flow oil cooler circuit but still using the factory oil cooler? For me I think this would work fine as I just want the oil pressure increase and thermostatically controlled circuit, but just want to see if I am maybe missing something.

    Where did the oil go?

This doesn't add up...Post a picture of the coolant color in the overflow... Plus once the coolant system is purged of air you should not have any more coolant coming out the overflow. That or it is leaking and you are not noticing it.

    Buying a Supra: Need advice

unless you are building a race car or have all of the parts needed to make it a nice street car, this is very sound advice.

    Rev Limit

My avcR has read 6600 + many times with a stock ECU. at low RPM it just appears dead accurate due to the fact that the amount it is off is smaller. Mine correlate almost perfect at low rpm. Plus with it idling at 650 its hard to know if the tach is at 650/660/680 etc. and its a pretty vague...

    Rev Limit

My tach will sometimes bounce around 6250/6300 but my AVCR is showing 6500-6700 max speeds when I hit the limiter. Sometimes the tach will bounce a little higher up to 6500, but that is well with in the range of accuracy for a factory tach.

    Spark plug change-Won't stay started

yes but this does not explain the timing being different between 1 to 6. That just explains the cause for a miss.

    Spark plug change-Won't stay started

Don't you find it odd that he said that cylinder 6 fires just fine and is timed close to correct, but he said that cylinder 1 is way off on timing when it does fire. Again I don't see how this is possible. I understand that Cylinder 1 might miss the ignition event (due to bad wires), but when...

    Spark plug change-Won't stay started

To verify the electrical system just measure voltage across the battery with it running. Should be around 13-14 volts (check the TSRM for the exact spec). If it produces that much voltage you are barking up the wrong tree. my 2nd thought is intermittent firing and firing way out of time is...

My 10 step guide to ruining a 7m

A pinhole leak lost all your coolant in 3 miles? I call BS on that. I had a water outlet gasket fail making the car leak what I call a considerable amount and the car only lost about a gallon of coolant (which was replenished while driving through the res tank) in about 5 city miles. That...

    Spark plug change-Won't stay started

This ground, while being good to have will not cause the OP's symptoms as many people run with it removed. To the OP, when you plug the wires onto the Coil do they snap in? Are you using the plastic clips to hold them to the coil? Have you verified the 3 connectors for ignition signal to the...

HKS not opening at low boost.

no flutter or surge here. I am also using the same source for vacuum

    Rev Limit

I think his description sounds like the factory rev limiter. My guess is that his tach is just slightly off of the actual engine RPM. My AVC-R also reports a slightly different reading than my tach up at the limiter and I have seen as high as 6700 rpm on my 92(thru the AVCR peak hold function).

    Spark plug change-Won't stay started

If the CPS was installed correctly it should run with the CPS in its current position. You will want to run it until it gets to operating temperature, then jumper Te1 and E1 in the DIAG block. Make sure your idle RPM is ~650 RPM. Then attach the timing light and adjust to 10*BTDC. Then undo...

    Spark plug change-Won't stay started

The odd thing about this is the car supposedly ran great and the process of changing the plugs made it start running like garbage...As I said in my previous post I would make sure you retrace your steps and make sure you have triple checked that you put everything back together correctly. Since...

If you adjust the steering stops there will be no issues up front. On the rear the wheel is quite close to the shock but it does not touch.

    Won´t rev past 5500rpm

Check codes, could be Fuel cut or could be the spark plugs/ignition break up. If you don't have code 34 it is likely the latter. If you have code 34 you are either running a non stock turbo or have a huge boost leak. Also fix whatever is causing your car to run cold, it is not the cause of...
