    Hoods, carbon fiber?

After shipping the cheapest Stout you could get, which would have to be imported from japan, would be $1400. Rounded ofcourse. You would get the Type R hood for this price tho, not the Type S hood, which some of you may not know about. The R hood has many more vents, hence the r for racing since...

    Caliper rebuild

Another reason i personally chose the remans was because my calipers looked like deep fried chicken. They were covered with lots of rust, and the ones I got in exchange for them were soo nice. It all comes down to preference then I guess. I prefer to have nice looking things. eric

    Caliper rebuild

yeah, deffinitely go the reman route it's super easy bro. I brought my rear calipers into Canadian tire as coresx and got the new ones for only $75 can. They were practically brand new, although they said remanufacturered. I cleaned em, painted em red, and baked em. They were fun! eric

FIPG - What Chemicals Break it Down?

Might not be smart to pry with a screwdriver on the intake pleunum and head, since it's aluminum you might cause defects in the mating surfaces which would be a nich nich. eric

    breakin

Many different views on this, many different answers. Some say soft break, some like me say hard. Some say a bit of both, so who really knows anymore. The only true way to test this is to drive 2 identical cars, one from each method and decide once and for all. Who's up for it? eric

    Sell MK3 and get MK4?

I love the mk3, I even have a $4k+ engine sitting in my garage, but I'd sell it in a second if I were getting an mk4. You can always buy a cheap...

I wouldn't get worried about him, or anyone. As with any hobby, it comes and goes. If he's done, or needs something else right now due to space etc... then w/e. We are like the wind, and blow any direction in an instant. eric

Do mechanics, car audio installers, etc, like working on your car?

The guy's at Petro Can used to say how my car was very hard to work on, and how the parts were hard to find etc... I admit it might be hard, but they found all the parts, and still overcharged me anyway. If people complain too much, just stop going like I did, they'll only miss the cash you...

i have an idea, input needed

All we need now are seperate switched to control either light at will, so we can wink at people. That's when you go from a level 6 coolness, to a level 9. I'd love to do something like that. eric
