    Help me get my way!!!!

I say do the test while she's as young as possible. put her in the driver's seat and let her sit up. Just sit and watch what she does. If she cries then she's gona be a girly girl, if she grabs the wheel, and makes turbo sounds then you have something special there. eric

    question on head

I'm terribly sorry, I thought you had the head off the block already. I assume you are changing the hg right? Since you said you got the hg in. I would reccomend doing this union removal with the head out of the engine bay, it'll be about a billion times easier. eric

    question on head

Are you using a breaker bar? I did, the extra torquing power you get from a longer bar really helps with this situation. eric

New Turbo is here!! Turbo concepts 70mm

Are you telling me that although it uses the ct26 exhaust to manifold flange, that the exhaust to dp flange is different than a regular ct26 one? It looked the same to me, although the wg is larger, the outer flange looks the same, and so any dp for the ct26 should bolt up if I'm correct with...

New Turbo is here!! Turbo concepts 70mm

I wonder why bic would tell you NOT to buy his ddp, or even dp for that matter. Either way, that's one nice lookin turbo you got there fella! eric

    Twins Baby

In that pic above, is that custom made box by the driver's strut tower a reservoir for oil? It appears to connect to that large nipple on the intake cam cover, and I would think it has another hose (out of view) than seals the loop and connects to the block nipple. I think this is a cool idea if...

Weird question....what color to 2-tone with white??

I say white on the bottom, and either a light grey, or light greyish blue for the top. That was it looks like a shark. If I recall Toyota called it the great white shark back in the day... eric

    whats your thoughts?

He won't need a ddp since the t70 isn't internally gated, and he has a 40mm gate for that purpose :icon_razz . So where are the pics evil??? eric

    Homemade cheap tig welder...

That's trully awesome. Make the parts on your car, and also make the welder used to make the parts! Next we'll find a way to make our own metal foundries using old washing machines, and then we'll trully be gods. eric

One quick question about head install

Thanks grim, i figured but wanted to be absolutely sure, as a bhg is not on my wanted list. I did not use sealant where not told to by the tsrm. I only used it on my oil pan so far, I want to prove that gaskets work fine. Either I'll be right, or my engine will leak like Niagara falls. eric

One quick question about head install

On page E55 of the tsrm, it notes to locations at the front of the head for you to put seal packing. It appears to me that those locations are where the gaskets are between the front timing cover and block correct? i want to make sure it even matters regarding the seal packing if i used the...

flat black for a mkIII what do you guys think?

Just my opinion, but it looks good. Sometimes. I saw a few pics of an R32 gts-t type M painted flat black, with the GTR bonnet and grill and I must say I was taken aback at the look. Clearly the car looked aggressive, and all business. I also agree with the people here saying that silver is...

Rust in spare tire well hatch

Way to steal my future plans! Ya, that is perfect, then you can just carry around 1-2 cans of quick-inflate and not that spare, save some weight. Also, the reason I wanted to make it flat in the back like you showed is to fit a fuel cell where the well was hanging under the car, then you could...

    Stretch's Digidash thread

I didn't do much. I can't do much until my dad finishes the board for the right most side, and until then i can't deffinitively judge the depth of the unit and cut accordingly, so I'm just waiting on that, but there is no rush remember guys. I test fit the odometer and clock in the bottom, which...
