Nice list, I was thinking of the girl I knew that matched each number as I read the descriptions ahahaa. I'm with number 12 right now, hopefully forever :) eric

So I checked my valve lash

Alright, thanks for the words guys, I wanted to hear what a bunch of the intelligent supra owners had to say, you guy were the best I could have asked for. I'll check my shims, I do have a whole other head that's garbage I can salvage for shims, so we'll see if I can increase some of those gaps...

So I checked my valve lash

I checked the lash on my valves today, and found my intake side to be running a pretty tight ship. What sort of problems could arise from leaving the clearances so tight? I have many with only 5 thousanths clearance, where the minimun is recomended to be 6, so I wanted to know what if any...

    7m-gte from Jasper engines.

For sure I'd go get my longblock from toyota if I had the cash. I actually did, but thought it better to build my forged block instead, but if and when this engine of mine explodes from my shitty assembly, I'm most likely either: a) getting a new longblock from toyota which will be factory...

Fork in the road. Which way to go?

When you mount the bov on your pipes make sure you put it as close to the tb as possible. You'll see many people with the jz series engine which has ffi mount it in the first 6 inches of piping attached to the tb. eric

    HKS exhaust

Here's a sound clip of the hi-power http://www.takakaira.com/asp/template.asp?cat=2&id=872&prodID=OPpLmMmhjIkgnJi Not sure what car, although I bet it's either a skyline, or silvia. More likely a skyline. I for one love this sound and play this clip from time to time to hear it :P eric

    Were all doomed!

That is the coolest thing I've seen and the stupidest thing I've seen all week both at once. It's awesome, but why would they invent it other than because they can? Do they think there is a market for exploding chairs? ahahahahaa eric

    Stretch's Digidash thread

To be honest Spaniard, no updates from me right now, maybe knight rider but not me. I haven't done squat on my project as i've taken a break from it. I'm waiting for my dad to finish reversing the over 100 pins on that shaped board as stated a couple pages back, and until he finishes that i...

    HKS exhaust

You can hear a sound clip of it on takakaira.com and it sounds exactly like what I would want an exhaust to sound like. BTW I bought my cat from suprastore, it was their highflow cat, probably from some generic exhaut store. Very good quality tho, and less than $200. Another btw, my super...

    Under hood insulation

I've heard all of the theories, but the fire smothering one is by far the best. The plastic clips attaching it to the hood would melt off in the event of a fire releasing the blanket onto the engine, and in doing so the fire would be smothered hopefully. eric

    HKS exhaust

That sure is a gorgeous exhaust. I had alwasy wanted one myself, and the size of the piping is excellent also. It's not just a muffler, it's cat-back; so you attach it to your catalytic converter. I'd get a new cat if I did the exhaust myself, as when I installed my old hks dragger I left the...

I don't see why you'd need to do that either. A 7m block is far from expensive to replace anyway... eric

    Hoods, carbon fiber?

If you take the supports out of the hood why not take the bracing out of the doors too. And then drill holes in the frame rails to make them lighter also. :icon_razz eric

    Going through Withdrawls

You're bound to feel this way with anything you have given up that you loved deeply. When I sold my 92 turbo and watched the new owners slowly drive it off my street on a crystal clear dusk that fine summer's night, I was crying inside, and it makes me tear up thinking about it again. I wanted...
