getting new tires for sawblades.. suggestions?

I know a lot of people racing 16x7s with 225s on them. From experience that is already pushing it. So yeah, 245s might fit but if you want to turn you need to stay with the stock sizing.

An Old Generation Supra Taking Best GReddy Theme Award

Nice job man. I was really hoping to bring my car out because I have a lot of rare GReddy parts but it's not registered so I didn't. There were lots of nice cars there so its awesome to see that you were the best out there. Congratulations, your car is super clean and well deserving of the...

    Greddy Front Bumper Dimensions

I think the intercooler will need to be much bigger than the opening, this isn't a civic or anything.

    Aftermarket CT26 Manifold

Yeah, just get a stock manifold. It works well enough and is the best way to go when using a CT26.

    Show off your watches!

Ive got a nerdy CASIO watch that has a calculator and IR transmitter and receiver. It can duplicate IR signals to control TVs and more. Pretty cool watch and its looks a decent, could be worse. No one has really commented good or bad on it so thats fine by me because I'm happy with it.

High idle STILL, where to check into next...

When you turn your AC on when it is idling does the idle raise even further? I know that it is normal to idle at around 1000 with the AC on.

    stock motor mount limits?

I just got the 93-98 Supra Motor mounts. There is an extra placement nipple (aluminium) that needs be to shaved off. They are encased in metal and seem much sturdier than the 89-92 mounts. They are the same size and fit the same. They can be found at a good price from the Toyota Dealers on...

    Good MK3 parts site!

Most of the good vendors are already members of this site. They support to and listen to the community so it is in our best interest to support them. Just scroll down to the bottom of the forum and they are all listed there.

College Kids: What's Your Major and Minor!?

University is the more formal term, but "college" is widely used. What you are referring to we would probably call a "trade school".

College Kids: What's Your Major and Minor!?

Im graduating from the University of California, Irvine in June with majors in Computer Science and Political Science. I just got accepted to University of San Diego Law School for the evening program. I am trying to get a full time job at Qualcomm starting in the summer. So, hopefully that...

Removing the rear axle from hub?

When I did it I just detached everything. Unbolt the top bot that attaches it to the upper ball joint and unbolt all suspensions arms. I was able to pull mine off directly, maybe with a little help from a hammer. The axle can bend a little and that was all I needed to get it off.

    MBC vs EBC

Money is also an important factor. MBCs are cheap and EBCs are really expensive compared to MBCs.

    tranny seperation

yup, like TooGoode said there is an e-clip on one side of that rod holding it on. You can't get it out with the rod in place but I swear I could put it back in with the rod in place. That doesn't make any sense.

    Cam tuning info and guide

I believe the stock engine pulls 18 vacuum at idle. With my cams adjusted I am pulling close to 30. Should my goal me to get it to 18? However, it would also seem that different cams would pull a different amount of vacuum when tuned.

    Supra Road Racing

I've road raced a stock supra. I can tell you that some stiff suspension, sway bars, and a big radiator will help. Really though, before you buy any more parts, just invest in a second pair of wheels with some good street tires and get some seat time. R-Compounds only hide mistakes so don't get...

I bought all new gaskets and hoses from Elmhurst Toyota over on SF for teh discount. All the gaskets totaled about $350 and all of the new hoses were over $450. Everything came out much cheaper than getting it from ym local dealer. I'm sure you could find cheaper products on ebau for the...

    pics of wheels

Dropped a little now with the Trust suspension, but there is still some gap, but I'm not a fan of slammed cars anyways. I might get some taller tires though.
